Terms of Use for Prompi

These terms are the agreement between you and Lumio Studio for the use of Prompi. Using the app

means you accept them.

What Prompi does

Prompi shows your script on screen while you record video, and scrolls it at your speaking pace.

That is the whole product.

Subscriptions, trials and billing

Prompi is free to download. Voice-following scroll and captions require a subscription. There are two plans:

• Weekly: $7.99 per week, billed every week. It starts with a 3 day free trial, and you are not charged during those 3 days.
• Monthly: $19.99 per month, billed every month. The free trial applies to the weekly plan only, so the monthly plan is charged from the start.

Those amounts are United States dollars and they are the price in the United States App Store. Local pricing varies by App Store region. In Türkiye the plans are ₺99.99 per week and ₺249.99 per month. Whatever applies to your region is shown on the paywall and in the App Store, in your own currency, before you confirm anything.

• Both plans renew automatically at the price above, for the same period, until you cancel.
• To cancel, do it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or in the App Store app. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the period you are in.
• If you cancel during the 3 day trial, you are not charged at all.
• Your Apple Account is charged at confirmation of purchase and again at each renewal, within 24 hours of the current period ending.
• Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in the App Store.

Prices may change. If a price changes, Apple notifies you and asks you to agree before the next renewal. We may run promotional pricing; introductory offers are limited to one per Apple Account, as Apple's rules require.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no

ability to issue refunds for App Store purchases.

What you make is yours

Your scripts and your recordings belong to you. We claim no licence over them, we do not receive them,

and we cannot access them. You are responsible for what you write and record, and for having the right

to use anything you put into a script.

Using it honestly

Do not use Prompi to create material that is unlawful, that harasses or defames someone, that

infringes copyright, or that impersonates a real person in a way intended to deceive. Do not attempt to

reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app.

What we do not promise

Voice-following scroll is an assistive feature, not a guarantee. Its accuracy depends on your

accent, your microphone, background noise, the language you selected and whether you stay close to your

written script. It will sometimes lose your place. Prompi provides fixed-speed scrolling as an

alternative for exactly this reason.

Do not rely on Prompi alone for a recording you cannot repeat. Check your footage before you need it.

The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, Lumio Studio disclaims implied

warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions

do not allow this, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Lumio Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or

consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost recordings, lost opportunities or lost data.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount

you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ten United States dollars.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for

anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are

unaffected.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the app entirely while you hold an

active subscription, we will stop future billing and tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes and by the date at

the top of this page. Continuing to use Prompi after a change means you accept the new terms.

Ending this agreement

You may stop using Prompi at any time by deleting it. Cancelling your subscription in the

App Store is a separate step, and you must do it yourself. We may suspend access if you materially breach these terms.

Apple

Apple is not a party to this agreement. Apple has no obligation to provide support for Prompi. If

the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the

purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these

terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have

jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of

mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings there.
